Acinetobacter baumannii is a relatively uncommon (but getting more common - scary) human pathogen, but they're widely found in the environment. It's usually a hospital-acquired bug in people who are already immune compromised. He's a gram-negative coccobacilli and he's sometimes tough to kill (he can be a bit CRABby, if you get me). We have a less friendly watercolor version of this bad boy too.
