Sometimes, I feel like a Mycobacterium. I prefer to stay isolated from the outside world. It would help to have a thick, waxy cell-wall to keep people (or antibiotics) out. I also like to lay low until something bad happens and I'm needed. You can say I'm like latent infection. Unfortunately, TB (like this watercolor) infects about one quarter of the world's population. Some of them don't know it because latent infections are pretty common. Graphics were drawn by me, but journals will be printed by my production partner. We also have a watercolor version of TB that's a little more serious.
