We share our urban environments with a variety of neat wildlife.  I live in an urban area and I routinely see opossums, red foxes, rabbits, bats, raccoons, coyotes, armadillos, and squirrels. Bats have all kinds of cool traits like echolocation, and they keep mosquitos in check.  Even pigeons and squirrels have managed to adapt to environments that are increasingly hostile to them.
